Shehbaz Sharif Announces Signing of Peace Memorandum Between the United States and Iran
Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, has announced that a memorandum of understanding between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran has been signed through Pakistan’s mediation.
According to him, the document, known as the “Islamabad Peace Accord,” was electronically signed on Wednesday evening by the presidents of the United States and Iran.
The Pakistani prime minister described the agreement as an important step toward reducing tensions and strengthening regional stability, stating that Islamabad played a mediating role in facilitating dialogue between the two sides.
