Armed Attack in Kabul’s Khair Khana Area Leaves at Least Two Injured

Local sources have reported an armed attack in the Khair Khana area of Kabul city, in which at least two people were injured.

Afghanistan International, citing local sources, reported that the attackers opened fire on the occupants of a vehicle in the Khair Khana area on Thursday, October 29, before fleeing the scene.

A Kabul resident also told the media outlet, while sharing a video, that the incident took place in the Qala-e-Najjarha area and that the attackers were armed robbers.

According to the report, at least two people were injured in the shooting. However, no further details have so far been released about the identities of the injured or their health conditions.

The Taliban police have not commented on the incident as of the publication of this report. No information has been released about the identification or arrest of the attackers either.
