For the first time, a ceremony marking Turkmen Culture Day was held in Berlin, Germany, with the participation of cultural figures, university professors, civil society activists, members of the Turkmen community, and guests from other Afghan ethnic groups.
According to the organizers, the event aimed to preserve the cultural heritage of the Turkmen people, promote their historical and cultural values, and strengthen the spirit of coexistence, mutual respect, and solidarity among Afghanistan’s diverse ethnic communities.

Participants also emphasized the importance of education, research, and the growing presence of Turkmen youth in academic and scientific institutions.
Participants described Afghanistan’s cultural diversity as a valuable national asset and stressed the importance of preserving, documenting, and promoting the cultural heritage of all ethnic groups. They said that observing Turkmen Culture Day is an important step toward strengthening unity, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence among the people of Afghanistan.
