Taliban Hand Over Hasib Panjshiri’s Body to His Family After Several Days

Funeral Prayer in Absentia Held for Hasib Panjshiri and His Accompanying Commanders

According to reports, the Taliban transferred the body of Hasib Panjshiri from Charikar to Kabul on Sunday and handed it over to his family on Monday morning.

It is said that the Taliban had set two conditions for handing over his body: no slogans should be chanted during the burial ceremony, and no photographs or videos should be taken during the ceremony.

Hasib Panjshiri’s body is scheduled to be transferred to Panjshir for burial.

Hasib Panjshiri, also known as “Hasib Qawa-e Markaz,” was a commander of the National Resistance Front. He was killed on 29 Asad in clashes with the Taliban in the northern Salang area.

The National Resistance Front had previously called for an investigation into the circumstances of Hasib Panjshiri’s killing and the condition of his body.
