Tamadon TV has reported online that Taliban forces have arrested 12 professors of the Khatam al-Nabieen Religious Seminary in Kabul.
The media outlet added that the arrests took place at the same time as the Taliban’s Ministry of Justice deployed additional forces to the seminary.
According to the report, electricity at the Khatam al-Nabieen Religious Seminary was also cut off. Some of the deployed forces were armed, while others were reportedly equipped with “sticks and clubs.”
Meanwhile, other reports have also indicated that Taliban forces are present around the seminary and are attempting to evacuate the facility.
The Taliban have so far made no official comment on the arrest of the seminary’s professors or the other claims made in this regard.
