Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday called on Pakistan and the Taliban administration to end their border clashes and resolve their differences through dialogue and diplomacy.
In a statement, the ministry described Pakistan’s recent airstrikes on border areas of Afghanistan as a “tragic incident” and stressed the importance of preventing further escalation between the two sides.
Russia also urged both parties to refrain from actions that could increase regional instability and instead pursue political and diplomatic solutions.
