Freedom Hub Afghanistan has officially announced the launch of its activities through a public statement, introducing itself as an independent, non-political, non-profit, and non-governmental organization.
According to the statement, the organization has been established in accordance with its founding charter, approved by the Founding Assembly, and in compliance with international human rights principles and standards. Its mission is to contribute to building a free, just, informed, and human dignity-based society in Afghanistan.
The statement notes that Freedom Hub Afghanistan will work in the areas of promoting and protecting human rights and fundamental freedoms, advancing social justice and equality, supporting the rights of women, children, and other vulnerable groups, fostering a culture of peace and peaceful coexistence, expanding education and civic awareness, promoting freedom of expression and access to information, empowering young people, and cooperating with national and international organizations in humanitarian and development sectors.
The organization further emphasized that all of its activities will be guided by the principles of independence, neutrality, transparency, accountability, non-discrimination, social participation, respect for human dignity, and adherence to national laws and international human rights standards.
In conclusion, Freedom Hub Afghanistan invited academics, researchers, students, youth, women, civil society activists, journalists, writers, professionals, and all citizens who believe in the values of freedom, justice, human rights, and sustainable development to cooperate in advancing the organization’s mission.
