The United States carried out airstrikes for a second consecutive day targeting the Iranian city of Sirik, Bandar Lengeh, and Qeshm Island.

The strikes came after a drone attack on a commercial vessel near the Strait of Hormuz.

Meanwhile, air raid sirens sounded in Bahrain, while the Kuwaiti military announced that its air defense systems were responding to missile and drone threats. At the same time, a political analyst in Tehran stated that Iran views the Strait of Hormuz as a strategic lever of deterrence against potential U.S. attacks.
