In the video, Kohistani alleged that in the past, Jumaa Khan Fateh distanced himself from his people and region in order to protect his position and personal interests, and later aligned himself with the Taliban. She said that recent developments show many local Taliban commanders in northern and northeastern Afghanistan are facing serious challenges and internal disagreements with the group’s leadership.
The political activist also, referring to reported tensions between Jumaa Khan Fateh and the Taliban leadership, stated that the time has come for Badakhshan Taliban figures to separate their path from the leadership based in Kandahar.
Kohistani further accused Jumaa Khan Fateh of prioritizing personal interests over those of the people, and strongly criticized his past actions.
