According to Qari Isa Mohammadi, he has continued his harsh criticism of former Afghan political figures and rulers, as well as those fighting against the Taliban, saying that some of these individuals have also moved toward “dictatorship and authoritarianism” and that there is no difference between them and the Taliban.
Addressing them in a critical tone, Mohammadi said: “Come on, stretch out your bellies; they are 50 kilos. You have also started dictatorship and authoritarianism; there is no difference between you and the Taliban.”
He also spoke about the concept of being a “hero” and a “Mujahid,” saying that these titles differ for different groups: “For the Taliban, Hibatullah is a hero; for the Panjshiris, it is Massoud; for some, it is Dostum and Hekmatyar.”
He added: “All of Afghanistan is full of heroes, martyrs, and Mujahideen. You kill your own people for 20 years, then you become a hero or a Mujahid.”
In another part of his remarks, referring to the young people who were killed alongside Hasib Panjshiri, Qari Isa Mohammadi said that these individuals had only recently entered adulthood and had families: “The young men who were killed with Hasib Panjshiri had only recently grown their mustaches; they have fathers, mothers, sisters, and families.”
He went on to criticize those who live outside Afghanistan and speak about fighting, saying: “You stretch your mustaches abroad and say that we are fighting; on Facebook, you shed fake tears.”
These remarks come as part of Qari Isa Mohammadi’s outspoken criticism of Afghanistan’s political and military figures and the way they deal with young people who are killed in wars.
