Nassar Shirazi: Tariq Mohammadi Was Responsible for the Killing of Hasib Qawa-e Markaz

Nassar Shirazi claimed in a post published on his social media page that Tariq Mohammadi, Ahmad Massoud’s maternal uncle, was responsible for the killing of Hasib Qawa-e Markaz.

According to Shirazi, Hasib Qawa-e Markaz, who had been involved in media activities associated with Ahmad Massoud’s front in previous years, was killed along with two other people, while nine of his colleagues were captured alive.

Shirazi also alleged that Hasib Qawa-e Markaz was not engaged in what he considered a genuine struggle for Afghanistan and claimed that the leadership of the National Resistance Front was aware of his situation and activities.

However, Shirazi’s allegations regarding Tariq Mohammadi’s involvement in the killing of Hasib Qawa-e Markaz have not been independently verified.

Hasib Qawa-e Markaz had previously been identified as a commander of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan, and media reports have also reported on his military activities in Panjshir and the Hindu Kush region.
