The National Independence Front of Afghanistan has claimed that four Taliban members were killed in an attack by its forces on a Taliban patrol vehicle in the Salar area of Saydabad District, Maidan Wardak Province.
In a statement, the front said the attack was carried out as part of a planned operation at around 1:00 a.m. on 24 Asad 1405, and that the targeted Ranger vehicle was completely destroyed.
The National Independence Front added that it would continue its struggle until it achieves what it describes as its goals of justice, freedom, and Afghanistan’s independence.
However, details of the incident and the casualty figures announced by the National Independence Front had not been independently verified as of the publication of this report.
