Kabul — The Kabul Municipality, under the Taliban administration, has announced that the design for a vehicle overpass and four circular ramps at the Kabul Airport intersection has been finalized, and work on the project will begin in the near future.

According to the municipality, the overpass will be 620 meters long, 44 meters wide, and 6 meters high. Four circular ramps have also been included in the project design.

The Kabul Municipality says the overpass will have three lanes in each direction in different sections, while the middle section will have five lanes in each direction.

According to the municipality, the project design takes into account existing traffic conditions, the topography of the area, the need to establish an organized public transportation system, and other transportation-related factors.
